Photographers Note
My husband and I opened our storefront almost 4 years ago while expecting our fourth child. Since that time, I have been blessed to meet and photograph some amazing families, and for me, going into a shoot with a client is a very personal thing. I tend to see into my subjects through the camera and by the end of our time together I always feel like I know a great deal about them, not from words spoken, but by emotion captured or a spirit felt.
There is a lot of satisfaction in being able to give something to my clients that they would not be able to give themselves, and as a mother of five beautiful and inspirational children, I understand the need for images of your family that speak to the heart.
I received my degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development and with nearly 30 years of photography experience, I can't think of a better combination, to be able to create emotional fine art portraiture for my clients. The way my clients react to their portraits and albums, speaks for itself. Madison Grace images are known for high end artistic style, and begin with a personal relationship. Most of our clients come from personal referrals and we credit that to a sterling reputation in our community. In 2007, we were voted the "Best Photography Studio in Tehama County".
As an award winning member of several professional photography organizations, including PPNV, PPSV, and WPPI, I have studied under world famous photographers such as David Ziser, Fuzzy Deunkle and Elizabeth Carmel to name a few, attending workshops several times a year, constantly learning new artistic techniques. For me this is a passionate journey that I hope never ends.
My clients always ask where the name Madison Grace comes from. Our two beautiful daughters Jessica Madison and Julianna Grace will tell you that the business is named after our love of children.
Our full service Victorian studio is located in the heart of historic downtown Red Bluff. For the last 4 years, our studio has been open everyday, by appointment only.
